  Colt Model 1849 Pocket Model .31 cal. 4'' octagonal barrel S/N 186686. All matching numbers two-line Hartford address walnut grips. Condition: Barrel retains 50% of the bright original blue finish just thinning and off of the high edges. Loading lever retains 40% of the original case colors turning to a dark brown. Frame retains traces of case colors turning brown. Cylinder scene is sharp and crisp with light patina brown appearance. Grips retain most of the original varnish with some wear on the sharp edges and some nicks and dings.

  *Marlin Model '94 Lever Action Rifle .25-20 cal. 24'' octagon barrel S/N D4415. Condition: Very good condition with a good but dark bore. The stocks are very good but have been sanded and refinished.

  Winchester Model 1890 Rifle .22 LR cal. 24'' octagonal barrel S/N 67522. Walnut stock and forearm. Condition: Barrel retains 80% blue finish turning plum. Magazine tube has 95% original blue finish with some browning where the slide rubs the tube. Frame is mostly brown with some case colors showing on the left side and on the triggerguard in the protected areas; the rest is blending to a nice patina. Stock and forearm have some nicks and dings but are untouched.

  *Winchester Model 1894 Rifle .32-40 cal. 26'' octagonal barrel S/N 825803. Blued finish with walnut stock and forearm. Condition: Barrel and magazine tube retaining 50% of the blue finish turning plum and mixing with some pitting. Frame retains 40% of the blue mixing with plum. Stock and forearm with some nicks and dings. Bore is dirty but will clean to better.

  Remington New Model 1858 .36 cal. 7.5'' octagonal barrel S/N 27838. Walnut grips. Condition: Barrel and cylinder a dark blue with pitting. Frame has turned brown. Grips have some nicks and dings. With two old worn chips out of the inside of the frame on each grip.

  HENRY REPEATING OCTAGON BARREL PROP RIFLEFeatured in this lot is a Henry repeating octagon barrel prop rifle. The rifle features a wonderfully and professionally crafted metal and wood construction. The rifle has an octagon barrel that shows a side sling eyelet with a moving loader complete with an internal spring and a flip up reticle. The action of the prop rifle works and cocks the hammer back with the internal reciever working properly. The condition of this prop rifle is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The lever and action move such as an original and the trigger releases the hammer. Truly a high quality older prop. Non-functioning prop gun. The measurements of this prop rifle are 43 1/4"L x 6"W x 1 1/4"D.*

  Winchester Model 1873 Rifle .22 rimfire cal. short 24.5'' octagonal barrel S/N 302716B. Marked on the top flat of barrel 22 Short also on the cartridge carrier. Walnut buttstock and forearm. Condition: All metal is sharp and crisp. Barrel and magazine has a coat of shellac painted on the metal to preserve the metal underneath which it is a nice plum with traces of blue finish. Frame is sharp and crisp with a nice brown patina. Buttstock and forearm have a dark patina. Bore is good; will clean to better.

Stated in letter from Cody:?Serial number was applied on 6-28-1895 date in 9-3-1895 Rifle 38 WCF Octagonal Barrel Plain trigger Takedown Date Shipped 6-2-1896. Condition: Barrel and magazine retain 95% of the original blue finish.?Frame retains 95% of the original blue finish with a small scratch in the left side of frame.?Lever hammer and buttplate retain most of the muted case colors just slightly faded.?Buttstock and forearm retaining all of the original finish with some very minute nicks and dings.? Bore is bright and excellent.

Condition: Barrel and action retains 90% of the original blue finish. Breechblock with traces of case color mostly turning brown. Walnut stock has had a coat of Tru-oil applied. Still retains a good cartouche; the stock has a cut out where the receiver sight was added. Bore is excellent.

Condition: Barrel markings are very sharp and crisp retaining 40% of the original blue thinning to a brown. Frame is very sharp mostly brown with some traces of high blue in the protected areas. Cylinder retains 40% of the blue finish with the rest thinning to a brown. Grips are excellent.

Barrels show 95% reblued finish turning brown over some older spotting and marks. Damascus pattern is barely visible. Left barrel shows bulges and dents. Right barrel shows light dents. Bore shows light to medium pitting. Action/barrels show slight looseness. Recoated wood shows redone uneven checkering. Stock shows a crack on the right side of the grip and a few impressions. Forend shows numerous nicks.
